Welcome to the latest episode of The Locals! Today I am at Bristol Parkway on the Great Western Main Line where services are seen by Great Western Railway and CrossCountry. It was brilliant to return here, it has been a while since I last filmed at Bristol Parkway and a lot has changed since! This is another electrified station however only to and from London Paddington as anything towards South Wales remains to be diesel only but not for too much longer! The variety was good and I arrived at a time of the day where the variety would be at its best and it certainly did not disappoint. The views are great with nice curve views from the Swindon/Yate direction and a good view of the junction towards Patchway and straight track towards Temple Meads. The station overall was fantastic to film at again and I would strongly recommend it!
