Ladyhawke swooped onto the JBTV stage to perform "The River" off her 2016 album Wild Things. This catchy and colorful tune got the audience moving and emulated the positive vibe of this New-Zealand based synthpop rocker. Pip Brown, the lady behind Ladyhawke, has perfected a powerful, distinctive sound since beginning her solo career. Her music is a vibrant dedication to her experiences with life and love and its unique, 80's-influenced sound makes it hard not to sing along. Her self-titled debut album was released in 2008, and became a sensation in her home country of New Zealand. Since then, she has followed up her breakout success with two more must-hear albums, Anxiety in 2012 and Wild Things in 2016.
