In preparation for the Philadelphia Orchestra’s first official services of the 2020/21 season, Norma had to be packed up at the Kimmel Center so she could be taken over to the Mann Center. First I brought her from my apartment to the Kimmel Center, with an unexpected mishap along the way. I may or may not have bumped her on a door. There is an open seam which may or may not have been from that bump. Who knows? Probably not though, I haven’t had Norma checked in a couple years which I usually get done by Aaron Riley of Guarneri House, who made my other bass “Riley.” I finally got to retrieve my Steve Riley bow, which is my fifth bow that I couldn’t show you in my bow video because it had been in my locker since March.
