Noga Erez covers Anderson .Paak for SoS

"...Seeking solutions is something that you should be not ashamed of and sometimes even proud of . I think that people that are able to share their intimate stories in times like this, where it's still not that accepted, I think it's very brave. And I think it's something that should bring people pride. So I try as much as I can with the platform that I have. And through doing this with you guys to share the fact that I have weaknesses, the fact that I am vulnerable and that at times I go through difficult things and I'm not ashamed of it. That's what makes us human and also helps us communicate with other people and kind of touch other people's heart." - Noga Erez ♪ Today we’re releasing our next video in our “Song That Found Me At The Right Time” series. This one features singer, songwriter and producer, Noga Erez performing the song “Who R U?” by Anderson .Paak. ♪ Erez's most recent album "Kids" is a near perfect pop album that sonically crosses from rap to pop and back again all with ease. It's Noga's voice that seems to transcend definition as it shifts from beautiful croon to smooth rhymes. The production, which creates in collaboration with her partner and co-producer Ori Rousso, is also incredible as it also plays with the complicated relationships between pop and rap. ♪ To us, Noga is an amazing and unique artist in that, lyrically, she takes on themes such as anxiety and internal struggles, while her sound and visuals are irresistibly catchy and uplifting. Initially the track “Views” inspired us to reach out to her, with the song's take on the dangers and shallowness of social media but through humorous eyes. It is both fresh sounding and completely relevant to some of our current collective mental health struggles. We also love how Noga has spoken out about the responsibility of artists and all humans to inject good into the world in whatever ways they can. Creating this video together, as well as experiencing her electric live shows, has only crystallized our feeling that she is a thrilling voice in pop music and in mental health advocacy.
