A real treat to get a drivers eye view on the single branch of the Abbey line from Watford Junction to St. Albans Abbey. It takes only 15 minutes to traverse the line riding the in the cab of a Class 350 Desiro EMUs, however we get to take a brief look around Bricket Wood before continuing our journey. After terminating at St. Albans Abbey, we get to explore the former railway to Hatfield that had opened in 1865 and closed in 1968 but passengers services ended first in 1951.
