First encounter with Amatsu (Strength Hammer) - アマツマガツチ ハンマー ソロ 【サンブレイク】

Great fight, with probably one of the best presentations in the series. I don't mind that Amatsu appears in the Infernal Springs instead of the Sacred Peak ; the visual effects, colors, and Amatsu itself are all incredible. I didn't get hit many times thankfully, actually I got hit by like Amatsu's most basic moves funnily enough. I got hit straight up at the beginning by its charge thinking I could just strafe it. I also got really lucky at some point because it did a really long attack sequence but it did it aiming at Utsushi, which allowed me to observe it and avoid it when it did that same sequence against me later on. Amatsu still has a decent amount of its moves from previous games with similar animations and sound cues which allowed me at some points of this fight to Water Strike them on reaction. Amatsu looks amazing, it looks like an older individual with its scarier face and longer "mustache", in general its appearance is much more "masculine" than how it looked in previous games. In general I always had this headcanon that Amatsu is male, despite its gracious appearance and rather high patched voice, but when I saw its Sunbreak appearance it really felt like it more. This is an amazing fight that goes all around the place and I would like to see how I do in it solo. Lastly, the presentation, visuals, Amatsu's attacks that require Great Wirebugs to avoid, Apex Zinogre's appearance (which I thought I couldn't mount at first lmao that's why I gave up and went back to attacking Amatsu) and the camera shots on Apex Zinogre, all of this really stroke me with that super, mega Arcadey feeling that Rise and Sunbreak have, all of this was like the apex of the game's design, it felt like a true conclusion, I absolutely loved everything about this encounter. (I got rid of Kagero's cutscene because it was so long. I hope this is okay) Side note: I almost lost my save because of corruption. I didn't have time to do a lot of stuff last night because I just could not get the game to read my save after updating, despite using a back-up from before the update and doing a clean re-install of the game. For about a hour I was stuck on this with the fear of losing absolutely everything I did to get there, and I thought it was the end of my channel. Thankfully I managed to make it work. For some reason, it was reinstalling... my cosmetic mod, that solved it. Don't ask me how, I didn't understand either.
