Watch Part 2 here.    • How To Hand-strip An Airedale Terrier...   This video shows me hand-stripping my own Airedale terrier Rummy's head. He is now 10 years old, and he is still mostly hand-stripped, except for his sanitation areas, inner ear flaps and in between the bottom of his foot pads. He is also just a pet, not a show dog and as such, I do not need to be puritanical about stripping every single hair on him. He is very much older now and less tolerant of having his butt stripped, so I have begun clipping that area. If you have a show dog, or an Airedale puppy you plan to show, you probably do NOT want to use clippers to shave your dog until he/she is retired from the show ring. All the tools and equipment used in this video are my own, I've collected them over many years. I am not an affiliate of any company mentioned in this video.
