Star Wars Battlefront (2004) - Jampack PS2 Demo

This is where the fun begins! This demo for the original Battlefront was released with Jampack Vol. 11 for the PS2 along with a ton of other demos. There was also an Xbox demo released with the Star Wars Trilogy DVD set which was an even earlier build of the game but since there's no working emulators for Xbox that can run the demo, I can't record any gameplay of that one (I do not own a capture card). ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ This version of the game is much closer to the final game than the Xbox demo is but there are still quite a few differences: - The menu is obviously different. I have my suspicions that this menu was made specifically for the demos since the background video is centralized around the Battle of Endor. - Loading Screen, although similar, is different from the final version. - The HUD is different. - CPs were labelled on the map. - Many models, such as the Stormtroopers, Scout Troopers and Rebel Pilots, have different textures (white gloves/boots on Rebel Pilot, Darker and Cleaner Stormtroopers, Clean Scout Troopers). - Rebel Sniper has a Disguise Kit instead of Recon Droids. - Rebel Pilot's Blaster Cannon is called "Scatter Gun". - Instead of Health and Ammo Dispensers, pilots had Thermal Detonators. - Concussion Grenade is called "Concussive Grenade". - Wookiee's had Blaster Pistols instead of Grenade Launchers and were also equipped with Health and Ammo dispensers. - The Bowcaster has a much higher rate of fire. - Dark Trooper's Blast Cannon is called "Blaster Cannon". - Imperial Pilots had a Scatter Gun instead of a Mortar Launcher. - Missile Launchers were called "Torpedo Launchers". These are definitely not all of the differences so feel free to point out more differences in the comments! By this point in development, the alternate weapon modes have already been removed (they were present in the Xbox demo). Also, since this is being played on a PS2 emulator, there are a few slight graphical glitches here and there and my aiming is kinda off since mapping the analog stick to the mouse, although functional, isn't perfect. Stay tuned for more videos on the classic Star Wars Battlefront series, including Renegade and Elite Squadron!
