This hymn has a standard that each Christian, through God's help, must be striving towards. On our journey, we learn more and more about how to follow God. How to hear His voice when He prompts us to go somewhere, do something, say something. We are to strive to the goal - desire it, push towards it and be who the Lord wants us to be. He knows what the best version of us looks like and is willing to be our guide on the journey there. Praise God for His patience, love and kindness toward us helpless humans. Without Him we really can do nothing at all. May we allow Him to transform us into the people He wants us to be. God bless you all.
