A Rolex manufacture caliber 3135 automatic caliber sits within the Rolex 904L stainless steel case. The self winding Swiss movement features a 48-hour power reserve, stop seconds (hacking), and a 28,800 vibration per hour beat rate. The movement includes a Breguet overcoil hairspring, a free sprung balance, and a full balance bridge. It pivots on 31 jewels and enjoys 300-meter water resistance thanks to robust Oyster case construction and a Rolex Triplock screw down crown. This movement is a COSC certified Swiss chronometer before being cased and regulated to the +/- 2 second daily tolerance of the "Superlative Chronometer" timing standard. A black lacquer dial features tarnish-resistant white gold indices, hands, and "Mercedes" hour hand. Proprietary Rolex Chromalight lume ensures easy reading by day or night. The unidirectional dive bezel includes a Rolex Cerachrom insert that resists scratches like a sapphire crystal; platinum deposits fill the numerals and hash marks of the bezel. Rolex includes an Oyster bracelet and diving clasp. The Oyster clasp includes a clamshell lock for security and Rolex Glidelock for adjustments. Glidelock is a system that permits tool-free adjustment of size for use over a diving suit or subtle changes to optimize fit. The system permits 20mm of adjustment in 2mm increments. The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Submariner 114060 dive watch features a 40mm stainless steel case surrounding a black dial on a stainless steel Oyster bracelet with folding buckle.
