Learn how to master the push phase, ensuring maximum extension both front and rear. Drill Focus: Rear Sculling This movement will teach you how to: - Complete the rear push phase - Achieve maximum extension front and rear - Roll onto your side effectively - Extend your entry out in front How to Perform the Drill: 1. Start face down in the water. Use a snorkel if you have one. 2. Place your arms by your side and build up a solid kick. Flippers can help generate lift and propulsion. 3. Move your hands forward, thumbs first, until they are underneath your chest. 4. Rotate your hands so your palms face the direction you came from. 5. Push with force, bending only at the elbows, engaging your triceps until you reach the surface. 6. Rotate your hands to be thumbs forward and repeat the process.
