Here is a quick overview of all their studio albums, from the 1986 debut through the latter-day Dial-a-Song-inspired albums of the late 2010s. Their children's albums, Elektra albums, internet-only released, and more are all included in this TMBG albums primer. No band is as consistently great, and unique, as There May Be Giants. Many fans hop on board for a few albums, then lose touch with TMBG. Maybe it's time to go back -- and all you need to know to get caught up is in this video. My first TMBG album was Lincoln, which I bought on cassette in the late 1980s. Thus began a major obsession with They Might Be Giants. I saw them live twice (they canceled a third time due to Flansburgh being sick) and got every album. Until 2004's The Spine, that is. Somewhere around then, I lost touch. Now it's time to go back and see what They Must Be Giants have been up to. I bought a bunch of recent TMBG vinyl LPs and will be going through them and reconnecting to one of my favorite bands of all time.
