How to Say in Korean 3: “I am learning Korean” [Casual & Polite Form]

We will learn the Korean sentence "I am learning Korean" in the casual and polite form speech levels. We will also learn about the object particle, "를 (leul)." The object particle attaches to the noun and makes the noun the object in the sentence. For example, in the sentence "나(I)는 한국어(Korean language)를 공부해요(study)", "를" is the object particle making the Korean language the object in the sentence. "를" is used if there is no final sound (Batchim) in the last syllable of the noun. For example, the last syllable in the word "한국어" is "어" and does not have a final consonant sound. It ends with a final vowel sound "ㅓ". Thus, we attach the object particle "를". The other object particle is "을 (eul)" and is used with nouns having Batchim (for instance, 한국말). Example: 나는 한국말을 배워요. (한국어 and 한국말 are both words meaning "Korean language".)
