We are back in England and heading to a place we've wanted to check out for quite some time, an inn that has been considered the most haunted hotel in the UK. We're heading to the picturesque medieval town of Rye to stay overnight at the Mermaid Inn, a historic hotel and pub that dates back to the 12th century. The inn has a rich and colorful history, having played host to a number of famous guests over the years, including smugglers, pirates, and even a few members of the royal family. It is said to be haunted by several ghosts, including sword-fighting ghosts who are known to wake guests up in the night. During the 18th century, the inn became a popular destination for smugglers who used its secret passages and hidden rooms. We think you'll like these videos.
