This is part four of five on making a rounded and backed cased book. In a cased book the cover and bookblock are made separately and brought together in an operation called casing-in. In this video I will completing the construction of the case. They're wrong, of course. Because the cloth covers the high wear parts of the book you should use a robust bookcloth, such as a buckram or library style cloth. I'm using 2.4mm thick generic acid free grey binder's board. Something close to this (about 1.8mm to 2.6mm), such as Davey board or millboard would be perfect.
