Last week I was away camping at the 24th annual edition of the Fort Frederick 18th Century Market Fair. Fort Frederick's 18th century Market Fair is a re-enactment of a colonial era frontier trade fair that happens every April against the backdrop of the restored French & Indian War fort at Fort Frederick State Park in Big Pool, Maryland. The event brings together all manner of 18th century re-enactors and living historians and vendors selling authentic 18th century wares. There is simply too much of the event to do it justice in a video, but I hope this gives you an impression of what the Market Fair is like.
