Where are all the children, where are they all? Who took them from me? In these difficult times, when every song assumes a new, chilling meaning, the Nona Vocal Choir of Kibbutz Maagan Michael decided to record a moving rendition of David Broza's song "Homecoming," with lyrics by Yonatan Gefen (of blessed memory). Thirty members of the Nona Choir, all girls between the ages of 12 and 18, filmed a video for the song on the beach near the kibbutz, revolving around the artwork of sand artist Neta Yeshuvi, also from Maagan Michael. Kibbutz Maagan Michael has been designated as an evacuee center. Since October 7, the kibbutz has been hosting approximately 350 evacuees from settlements from southern and northern Israel, embracing all those living in Israeli border areas, and calling for the release and return home of the hostages being held prisoner by Hamas. We hope this artistic collaboration will reach as many listeners and viewers in Israel and abroad as possible, in order to help raise awareness on this critical issue. We will not let them be forgotten.
