However, FL Studio has gone through a bunch of updates since then, including a new version of FL Studio. I wanted to do another up to date version with a bit more info about plugins and features. There's also been a major price update which I'll talk about in the video. The version of FL Studio that you get is going to depend on what you need. If you're new to music production and FL Studio, this video is intended to cover what I consider to be the most relevant plugins from each version. An important thing to be aware of is that with the Fruity Edition you can't even record or drag audio clips into the playlist, which in my opinion makes this version basically useless. From the producer edition on, you'll have access to all the features you'll need in FL Studio, it's just a matter of which plugins you think you'll use. A lot of people hate on stock FL Studio plugins, but if you actually know how to use them properly, many are extremely powerful. I recommend learning how to use all your stock plugins before going out and buying a bunch of other plugins that you may not need.
