North Yorkshire Moors Railway Bronze Timetable Operations September 2023

Hello & Welcome to Harnetty Railways While having our annual holiday at our friends at The North Yorkshire Moors Railway which we always clashes with the railway's steam gala we see during mid week after the gala weekend the railway's Bronze timetable operations during their normal running days. We see 4 steam locos in operations during the period. North Eastern Locomotive Preservation Group or NELPG for short their J27 65894 fresh from being repainted in LNER line black livery for the 1st time in 3 decades which also reverted to her pre-nationalization of 2392. Which 2023 was a special year for the J27 as like the NRM's 60103 Flying Scotsman 2392 was also celebrating her 100th birthday since being out shopped from Darlington works back in September 1923. Also in action were BR Standard class 4 2-6-4 tank 80136 which was running as scrapped sister 80116 remembering the original loco when the original 80116 worked in the Whitby area back in BR Days & running The Economist train. BR Standard class 9f 92134 named by the crews & enthusiasts as Neville was also in action during our visit. The 4th loco & leaving the best till last the railway's flagship loco or in bantering terms to us for give us Roman Reigns The Tribal Chief & the head of the NYMR table. Our personal favorite loco in the fleet Black 5 5428 Eric Treacy back in full service after a prolong maintenance period in the workshop at Grosmont MPD working mostly during our visit the shuttle runs between Grosmont & Whitby. We are planning on returning to the NYMR 1 last time before their 2023 season draws to a close so keep an eye an out for a future NYMR video from Harnetty Railways.
