In this video, we take a look at the traditional Kamigata acting style of ningyōburi ("puppet acting"), which uses the bunraku theatre as a source of inspiration for the portrayal of certain roles during dramatic highlights. I was hoping to learn much more about ningyōburi in the process of making this video, but I've found it difficult to find materials on the topic.
