This song has been composed by André Dassary in 1941 to encourage French people to work hard for Vichy France. --- Note : Vichy France is the name given to the nazi collaborative government of France led by Philippe Pétain from 1940 to 1944. This government was ruling in South France (the North was directly ruled by the Germans) and its capital was Vichy.
