Flash mob by the Dutch National Ballet in Beijing's Parkview Green

As the 2014 NCPA Dance Festival is in full swing, the Dutch National Ballet will present their Giselle and a gala of mixed bill on October 30 and 31 respectively. On October 29, the dancers of the company appeared in Beijing’s Parkview Green and surprised the citizens with their performance of classical ballet. Five o'clock in the afternoon that day, people coming and going on the plaza on LG2 of Parkview Green heard the music of ballet Giselle all in a sudden. As the music went, 10 slender dancers in chic outfits from the Dutch National Ballet walked out of the surprised crowd and started to dance the group dance of the wilis in the second act of Giselle that was to be staged in NCPA on October 30. Soon after, 30 students of the Beijing Dance Academy stood out and performed an episode of modern dance, which attracted the excited citizen. People started to record this encounter with ballet with their phones.
