The Rebel Duggar Chose Pennsylvania Over Arkansas For The Holidays Counting On fans have always been able to rely on Jinger Duggar to be the rebel in her uber-religious family, but how she spent Christmas has fans wondering if she is trying to completely separate herself from her TV family. Could the new mom be planning to leave Counting On? On Christmas Eve, the reality star told her fans on Instagram that she and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, along with their six-month-old daughter, Felicity, traveled to Pennsylvania from their home in Laredo, Texas, to spend the holiday with his family. Duggar posted a video of Felicity struggling to wake up after their flight, and she also shared pics of their journey to grandma and grandpa Vuolo’s house. Throughout the trip, Duggar shared pics of Felicity enjoying time with her grandparents and her Aunt Val, Vuolo’s sister. At the same time, the Duggars had a full house at their Arkansas home, with all of Jinger’s 18 siblings there to throw Jesus a birthday party. The Duggars believe the real reason for Christmas is to celebrate Jesus’ birthday, so instead of decorating a Christmas tree, they hang a banner that reads “Happy Birthday Jesus.” In addition to Jinger’s 18 brothers and sisters, her married siblings also had their spouses and kids at Jim Bob and Michelle’s house, which made for a huge holiday bash. Since Jinger and Jeremy tied the knot back in November 2017, they haven’t spent a ton of time in Arkansas. According to Romper, they immediately moved to Laredo where he is a pastor at a local church, and they have traveled to Pennsylvania for the last two Christmases. But just because Jinger spends her holidays with the Vuolo’s, that doesn’t mean she is trying to separate herself from her family. The Duggars believe that the husband is the head of the household, so it makes sense that she would spend Christmas with his family and not hers. “Wish we were able to join you all,” Jinger wrote on a Christmas video her brother, Josiah, posted. And, her sister Jessa was also a frequent commenter on Jinger’s posts of Christmas lights near her Texas home.
