The 5-PIECE... The SOUND of my CHILDHOOD... My decision to surgically dissect the LEGENDARY "74 Tour" into the existing 3-PIECE, 4-PIECE & 5-PIECE iterations, continues... After releasing the 4-PIECE version about 7 years ago, we finally get the 5-PIECE version with Master Baah... (Please see...    • Traffic - Memories of a Rock & Rolla ...  ) "Memories" is a very special composition with lyrics that are in many ways 'autobiographical'... Chronological in a sense, of Master Winwood's rise to the TOP of Mount Olympus... which brings me to conclude that the LYRICS were not solely written by Master Capaldi but rather a JOINT effort... Naturally, It is also plausible that Master Capaldi wrote the lyrics for his own career progression, since he had taken a similar path... I always wished that the LIVE iterations of "Memories" had a prolonged ending with Master Winwood taking at least a 2 minute long Guitar solo.... With this release, I can say {with a bit of sadness} that the chapter on "Memories" has now come to a close... (unless of course, a very unique version surfaces from its contemporaneous iterations...) Enjoy Loud...
