We started in Kochi, then went to Kollam, Madurai, Pondicherry, Auroville and Chennai, hitting many small villages and towns in between. After this trip, I've now spent almost 4 months combined on the Indian subcontinent -- and I've reconfirmed my love for this country. Through all the ups and downs, this is really a special and unique place that I recommend everyone to visit at least once in their life. Speaking of unique, I have noticed many cultural things while traveling India that are not commonly seen elsewhere around the world...
