The TWSBI Diamond 580 ALR is probably version 5 or 6 of one of the first pens which TWSBI made - the 530. I feel that TWSBI is trying to make the 500 series of pens more luxurious and the design more special to differentiate it from the ECO. The build quality of the 580 is definitely one class up vs the ECO and 2 classes up from the GO. In terms of outright performance, however, nib size aside the difference isn't big and in some ways, I much prefer the ECO. Nonetheless, I think there is a case of having a 580 in your collection. I did not mention it in the video, but the balance of the pen is back-weighted slightly, and the pen can be posted. Nibs available are EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1.
