We're learning how to play "The Best Day" by Taylor Swift in today's guitar tutorial! This song means so much to me and I wanted to share it before Mother's Day, so if any of you wanted to play it for your mom, you'd have time to learn it! :) For the most part, this song is pretty easy to play. We have an F major barre chord, but you can totally sub in the open version if you want! (Taylor actually plays the open version! - fun fact) We also have 3 different chord progressions as well with the bridge probably being the most challenging to memorize. Strumming is also really simple as well! This tutorial is going to show you exactly how Taylor plays the song live on stage! If you want it to sound in the key of the original track, use a capo on the 1st fret. If you'd like it to sound like how she played it on the Red tour, just play without a capo.
