This is the ultimate raid ranking video and while I know there is a lot of raids, it should still be stated that there has been 18 of them in Destiny’s 10 year journey since we’re going to include remasters here. In this video we look at every single raid from the original vault of glass to the end of the first sagas raid with Salvations Edge. The criteria is simple for my ranking and hopefully it’s as fair as possible in context. This is a Combination of encounter design, loot, replayability (less waiting mechanics), and day 1 experience. THIS IS NOT FOR STORY REASONS AND FOR LORE. Obviously with a ton of raids there’s a ton to go over, so lets get down to ranking! 18. Eow - bad loot, bad replayability, encounters were bad outside of boss, bad day 1. 17. Crota D1 - good loot, encounter design is solo, long day 1 and not bad. 16. RON - okay loot, encounter design is solo, bad day 1. 15. GoS - bad loot, encounter design is unique, good day 1. 14. CoS - bad loot, great encounter design, poor day 1. 13. KF - boring loot, encounter design got old, great day 1. 12. VOG - day 1 was long, loot was best, replayability, encounters old. 11. Levi - replayable, loot for the time, aged poorly, day 1 was good for the intro. 10. CROTA REMAKE - loot, day 1, replayability/encounter questionable with the waiting 9. SOTP - great loot, good encounter design, poor day 1. 8. Spire of Stars - day 1, replayable final boss, loot was bad. 7. VOG remaster - loot, replayability, day 1 decent 6. KF remake - loot is okay, replayability, day 1 slight better, encounter design is much better. 5. DSC- encounter design, loot, replayability, atraks highlight but day 1 too easy. 4. WOTM - encounter design, loot, replayability, bad day 1 3. VOTD - everything but the connection issues. 2. LW - everything, but aged. 1.
