Abilene Strat Purple Swirl

Second successful swirl that we've achieved on an Abilene Stratocaster Copy. Still much to learn with the swirling process but am pretty darn happy with the results we're getting this early in the game. Was given this guitar for free (thanks Luke!) so it was an excellent starting point to learn some techniques on and as it turns out, it's not a bad little player either. Excuse the shitty playing, I didn't really prepare anything special to play. Materials used: Enamel White Primer, Magic Marble Paint (Blue, Purple, White, Black and metallic silver), regular tap water at 27 degrees Celsius (80 degrees Fahrenheit). 2K Polyurethane Clearcoat. You have to move pretty fast with Magic Marble as it does skin off on the water quite fast. If I have any advice to give, it's to do an absolute truckload of prep work to get that body perfectly flat and blemish free before you dip, which in turn will make the final product much more professional and easier to wetsand and polish in the final stages.
