He’s finally here! This Life Size Santa is no ordinary one for sure, he finally adopts the Chef outfit and accessories and a more realistic appearance! The Range’s Santa’s have always been sentimental to me as they were the first I saw in person that have the original Gemmy songs. He has been sold for 8 years now and this year they have decided to sell this amazing Chef variant or the updated traditional suit Santa (also shown on the channel) Some of my favourite features from the original design has been brought over to this one such as his boots, hands (back as the original sculpt!) and the head which now has a much needed realistic mustache and eyebrows! The Chef attire is a brilliant addition, it’s incredibly well detailed including little accessories such as a Whisk, Gingerbread House, Candy Canes and a little Gingerbread Man in his pocket! I really love the fact they have kept the original songs, besides the original Gemmy version, they couldn’t be a better fit for The Range’s Santa. The sound quality doesn’t seem to have as much bass in it as the 2020 version but I guess to keep producing these at such a good price, that must be been sacrificed. In the upside his mouth movement is now incredibly smooth! The also turns his head and has a quieter dancing motor which was my main gripe at the 2020 version. I couldn’t recommend these Santa’s enough, he’s £129.99 at The Range currently however this does appear to be the rarer version out of the two in stores but he’s widely available on the website. Both are very good but if you’re looking for something a bit different, this is the Santa for you!
