Sometimes we find help in unexpected places. Looks can be deceiving, and we can’t always predict the nature and purpose of things, even in our own lives. We might think we don’t have much to offer, but God has an important plan. When Samuel went to anoint King David, he expected one of the older stronger brothers would surely be God’s pick, but God reminded him that looks are not as important as what’s in the heart. This message explains the story by using simple household objects that have double purposes.
