I can't not share this. This video showcases the artistic journey these students traveled for Along the Nile, displayed through Joshua Moton and Alana Cutno's audition as Subira and the Pharaoh Matsimela into them physically and emotionally becoming those characters in performance. I am so proud of the entire cast and so grateful I was able to bring this play to life. When I wrote the first version of the play in 2011, I never thought I would I actually see it staged. Now it is one of the most beautiful and vibrant memories I have. I cherish that. #Audtion #AlongTheNile #BlackTheatre #AncientEgypt #Kemet
