I recently purchased a Toyota Hiace converted campervan, to travel around my home country of Scotland. In my previous videos, I provided a comprehensive van tour and detailed the process of acquiring a campervan in the UK. In this video, I embark on an exciting journey as I take my DIY converted campervan for its maiden voyage and experience driving my campervan for the first time. Venturing onto main roads and hilly terrains, I assess the vehicle's performance and durability. Despite my love for campervan travel and alternative living, I've hardly explored my home country of Scotland and I’ve never even visited places like the Scottish Highlands, the Isle of Skye or the NC500. I'm excited to change that and experience UK vanlife now that I have my own campervan.
