His company makes thousands of airline, hotel and car hire reservations every day. And he has growing teams to manage the administration and payment of the reservations. Every reservation means a paper invoice, which needs to be logged, reconciled, filed, and this is becoming increasingly difficult to manage. Invoices are really important for Lucas' company, as he needs them to bill customers, reconcile bookings, reclaim VAT. Lucas is just introduced the baVel invoice settlement program, that uses WEX virtual cards to pay for invoices. He can now accept electronic invoices from suppliers, and automatically check and pay them with a WEX virtual card. Now the travel company's suppliers send invoices automatically through baVel. For Lucas' corporate customers, the invoices race to the hotel's PMS system when the traveller checks out. Lucas' travel company receives the electronic invoice, which is checked, validated, and approved by baVel. The system them requests a WEX virtual card, which pays the right amount to the hotel straight away. The electronic invoice is filed and automatically reconciled as a card payment statement. Now Lucas receives supplier invoices quickly, and can invoice his customers straight away to protect his cash flow and focus on selling more holidays. Lucas' travel company's suppliers are happy to receive fast payments through WEX virtual cards. Lucas is very happy, as he's managed to reduce the cost of doing business, earn a rebate on every invoice payment, and can take advantage of the WEX Europe credit terms on his payments.
