MONTE CASSINO - ALLIED ONSLAUGHT - Forgotten Battle - RobZ Mod - MoW Assault Squad 2 / Call to Arms

Here's the battle, many probably dreamed of seeing, often called as WW2 European sideshow. This is Monte Cassino, located in Italy. Allies are trying to break through the Winter line and the Monte Cassino become one of the important battles. What you are about to see, is the real fury what Allied onslaught can cause known as the biggest bombing against a single target of all time. German paratroopers (Fallschirmjägers) however, survive this hell, well there were many losses but they were still holding the ground. So my today's video is about Allied 1944 3rd assault just after the bombing that made everything just even worse for them. They manage to capture the railway station, some part of the town and even the castle but the main objective Monte Cassino itself couldn't be captured. So I made this authentic looking map, including that famous monastery top of the hill, a castle right next to it and flattened town. As much I respect Allied efforts, but I focus today on German paratroopers by showing their efforts to stop this assault through 1st and 3rd person view. If you'd like to see more Cassino then please do let me know, because there is more I could show, like the German counter-attack on captured Castle that I couldn't show you this time.
