Majora's Mask Epic Orchestral Medley

I put every single ounce of love, care, attention and passion into this one. (I even worked on it on my birthday!) In a way, this medley tells a story. It starts out with the intro music, where Link is travelling in the forest, just before he meets Skullkid. It then transitions into the song of Healing, representing his journey to get his humanity back and his first steps into Termina. Following this, it deals with the lore, strife, mystery and danger all over the land, right up until the final moments before the moon falls, during which, the song becomes very sombre indeed. As I composed that part (Final Hour) I thought to myself "Everyone dies- even I am going to die!" as chilling waves of existential dread washed over me. After this, I transitioned the arrangement into the Astral Observatory melody (which I hope will be comforting), thinking to myself "Human lives are not eternal, but there is a vast universe out there- something much bigger and, perhaps, transcendental and even meaningful to contemplate." I followed this with the reunion music, thinking to myself that, maybe, there can only really be one eternal thing- something which transcends both time and space. "Perhaps this thing is love?" I thought to myself as I slaved away at the computer. The Clock Tower theme followed this, closing the loop the Song of Healing began, now wizened and ethereal, utilizing choral singing, Tibetan chants and chimes: a fitting theme for the Happy Mask Man, in my opinion. Perhaps he is immortal in some way. Perhaps he knows everything we (and Link + the residents of Termina) can't know.
