The Best Film Camera Ever Made?

The best camera is the one you have on you - but I think I have a close contender. Best of all, they're cheap, reliable, and lots and lots of fun. → Beginner's Film Photography Course: https://learnphotography.thinkific.co... → Join my free email community: https://email.huntercreatesthings.com/ 💌 Follow me on instagram:   / huntercreatesthings   📷 Merch is new and now available (more coming soon) : https://shop.huntercreatesthings.com/ Get Your Gear From Moment to Support Me https://bit.ly/MomentStaysHydrated ❤️ I Lit This Video With Zhiyun Lights https://bit.ly/ZhiyunStayHydrated 🔦 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you'd like to buy me a coffee, or contribute to my production budget, why not become a channel member?   / @huntercreatesthings   I think the Asahi Pentax K1000 is the best 35mm film camera ever made. And yeah, that means I think it's better than a Leica M6 and I'm not afraid to admit it, and I'm definitely not coping with not being able to afford one. We love analog cameras for their simplicity - so why spend more on a fancier film camera that takes that simplicity away? Plus, with the absolutely stunning and super cheap selection of pentax lenses, you really can't find a lot to complain about when you go out for a photowalk with a K1000. My copy is the K1000 SE - which means it's got a bonus split image as well as the micro-prism for focussing, which is great for me because I wear glasses. It also just makes it slightly more special - after all, there are many K1000s, but this one is mine. Thank you for watching x If you're reading this, subscribe!
