Linking the E, S & G in Sustainable Finance

Understanding the linkages and resolving the tradeoffs between the climate and environment, social dimensions, and governance challenges in sustainable development. The Stockholm School of Economics, together with the Global Challenges Foundation and Sustainable Finance Lab, is proud to invite you to this afternoon session, where you will have the opportunity to listen to policymakers, researchers, and corporate representatives on understanding the linkages and resolving the tradeoffs between the climate and environment, social dimensions and governance challenges in sustainable development. This event is a part of “Economy and Finance for a Just Future on a Thriving Planet” which has been commissioned by the Swedish Ministry of Environment as an independent input and contribution to Stockholm+50. It is led by the Beijer Institute of Ecological Economics at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, and the Stockholm Resilience Centre, at Stockholm University. The work builds on the Nobel Prize Summit 2021, Our Planet, Our Future, an international scientific initiative on sustainable development hosted by the Nobel Foundation.
