Even after successfully passing the global audition held by the largest Korean entertainment company and training with one of the most successful K-pop groups of its time, Henry’s debut to stardom was far from smooth. Henry faced strong opposition which even turned into protests and boycotts led by fans of the company. How to deal with the situation? How was Henry able to start from such a low point to being one of the most recognized household names in Asia? Henry is a multi-talented star. He’s a singer, actor, producer, dancer, a classical violinist, pianist, and is even recognized as a Saatchi gallery artist. Henry continues to face many challenges on his path of creativity. What is Henry’s attitude towards those challenges? How to stay on top of creative pursuits? Henry Lau is an award winning singer, producer and actor. Trained as a classical violinist, Henry is best known for combining virtuosic classical elements with pop music in his performances. Henry started his career as a member of the Kpop group Super Junior M, and has since transitioned into a successful solo artist. In 2019, Henry starred in Hollywood movie “A Dog’s Journey” by Amblin Entertainment (Steven Spielberg’s studio) and Chinese blockbuster “Double World”. Most recently in late 2021, Henry’s set of pendulum paintings were showcased at Saatchi Gallery in London. Henry is an alumnus of Berkelee College of Music. During first term, Henry was offered a full scholarship but later withdrew to continue his award winning music career.
