WSBAK Children's festival concludes

The 3 day Children’s festival organised by the Western Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu (WSBAK) at Chekiye Village Baptist Church concluded on October 6 with participation of more than 10,000 delegates from different Sumi churches under the jurisdiction of WSBAK Nagaland News Network (NNN) spoke to Yexevi Achumi, one of the children from Dimapur Sema Baptist Church. He stated that the festival has been such a huge learning experience especially of their culture which he was not well equipped with, he added. Another participant, Vikhishe of Longti village also expressed that the festival was a wonderful experience and he thanked all the organisers for doing such an amazing job with the festival. He said that the last Children’s festival was organised in 2018 and due to the pandemic, they were not able to organise the festival in 2020 however with the situation at ease, the WSBAK was able to arrange the festival this year. Vikhishe also encouraged the other children to have all the fun and soak in the blissful experience while focusing on God. The festival as stated is observed every three years and this year's festival is held under the theme 'Children of the Light' with the motive to guide the children to the right path and light.
