The modern Rake 'N Scrape consists of a full band sometimes, but the rhythm guitar is the glue that holds the rhythm together. The Godfather of Bahamian Music, Sir Ronnie Butler, led the way by creating the rhythm that has all of the younger guitarists 'yuckin' and jookin'..while holding the rhythm of the modern songs together. There are a few names that are normally called when you talk about the Rhythm Guitars in The Bahamas... Ira Storr and Chad Young.
