A Search for the Best Roast Goose Restaurant

Goose meat has a unique flavour, not as strong as duck or pigeon meat and is widely eaten in the Guangdong province in China and Hongkong. The meat has largely disappeared from the restaurants in South East Asian countries of Singapore and Malaysia where it was once popular amongst the local Chinese. To eat this culinary delight, I travelled to Hongkong, Guangzhou and Shunde which is the Food Center for Cantonese foods. Shunde restaurants produce the most delicious affordable roast goose to satisfy one's palate. A good roast goose must have a well roasted crispy skin, lean and tender, and most importantly retain the unique flavour of the goose meat.
