Join us in the basalt wall region of North Queensland, Australia in pursuit of chital deer. Over the 4 days of hunting we locate plenty of deer, including some nice representative stags. After passing up a few immature animals, its late in the day with the sun filtering through the trees. Eventually we come across a wide shaped chital stag which we take a closer look at. Sparking the hunters interest we close in and make the shot count on this 28 inches stag. With a desire to take another stag of different style or even greater length antlers we set off in search of another mature chital stag. Coming across a lone stag bedded in amongst some iron barks and termite mounds we slip into thirty meters and wait for the stag to stand and present a shot. After a few hours the stag stands and the hunter makes a great shot dropping him in his tracks.
