Eight Years of Murphy

This video is not my normal video, so please excuse the quality. Murphy is now eight years old, as of January. I wanted to celebrate this by reflecting on these eight incredible years. I adopted Murphy in mid 2016, he was about 6 or 7 months old. My family had not planned on bringing home a dog, but we met him at a festival and fell in love. Murphy is unlike any dog I have ever met. I made a connection with him immediately. I believe I was nine years old when we brought him home. And I was also this age when I started making videos with him. I had never trained a dog before Murphy, but he inspired me to try. I found a lot of my hobbies because of him. After I got good at training, I was inspired to also record these tricks better. This is what made me discover my passion for photography. I am now 17 years old. Murphy is 8. It is honestly hard to believe. I do not know where all this time went. I look back on all this footage and I still see the same dog we brought home. I am so lucky that I could grow up alongside such a good dog. This video has clips from the last eight years. If you have known me for some time, you may be curious why most of it is so low quality, as I had a lot of great shots. Unfortunately, a few years back my computer's disk broke. This caused me to lose 98% of my portfolio. So the only stuff I really have to show for it is phone videos. This is a big reason why I became inactive for a few years. It is difficult to start from scratch. However, I refuse to let that be the end of a hobby. I hope to make more videos after this one, for the record. :) Thank you if you have read this far.
