A playthrough of Sega's 1995 golf game for the Sega Saturn, Pebble Beach Golf Links. Played a round in the tournament mode against three CPU-controller characters. I was surprised as just how good Pebble Beach Golf Links was! I mean, I've played plenty of T&E Soft's golf games before (on the SNES, 3D0, and N64), but I think that this one has to be my favorite. Not only does it have Craig Stadler looking hilariously walrus-y as he feigns surprise, shock, and excitement over your shots, but the game plays nice and quickly, the graphics are really good for a game done in this style (just look at Pebble Beach on 3DO for how they shouldn't be done), and it's not so difficult as to make it frustrating, though it certainly hard enough to make you occasionally yell at the TV over a mistimed shot. ____ No cheats were used during the recording of this video.
