Karate Kid / Cobra Kai - Ralph Macchio, William Zabka & Martin Kove (Motor City Comic Con)

Recently remastered with newly obtained higher resolution video to enhance your viewing pleasure! Stars of the iconic and indelible 1984 film "The Karate Kid" and the new hit YouTube show, "Cobra Kai" -- Ralph Macchio ('Daniel LaRusso'), William Zabka ('Johnny Lawrence') and Martin Kove (Cobra Kai sensei 'John Kreese') -- share behind-the-scenes stories and answer fan questions at their 2015 Motor City Comic Con Q&A panel in Novi, Michigan, U.S.A. "The Karate Kid" is a 1984 American martial arts drama that also starred Elisabeth Shue and the late Pat Morita. It is an underdog story in the mold of "Rocky" (1976). The film, which centered on the Goju-ryu, Goju Kai style of karate, was a commercial success upon release and garnered critical acclaim -- earning Morita a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Ralph George Macchio Jr. (born November 4th, 1961) is an American actor also know for portraying 'Eugene Martone' in "Crossroads," 'Bill Gambini' in "My Cousin Vinny" and 'Johnny Cade' in "The Outsiders." In 2018, he reprized the role of 'Daniel LaRusso' in the well-received YouTube series "Cobra Kai." William Michael Zabka (born October 20th, 1965) is an American actor, screenwriter, director and producer best known for appearing in several iconic 1980s films including "The Karate Kid Part II" sequel and quite recently in the spin-off series "Cobra Kai" alongside Ralph Macchio. In 2004, he was nominated for an Academy Award for co-writing and producing the short film "Most." Martin Kove (born March 6th, 1946) is an American film and television actor also known for his film work -- especially "Rambo: First Blood Part II" (1985) -- and for portraying the character 'Victor Isbecki' on the television series "Cagney & Lacey" (1982-1988).
