Here's a video of my Lionel Vision Niagara #6023 taking a trip around the layout. This is a fantastic Lionel model with incredible detail. The tender blows smoke out near the wheels to simulate a water-scoop effect. The real Niagara's tender was capable of scooping water from special sections of track in order to allow it to continue at speed, without stopping for water. The smoke from the tender simulates the splashing of water as it goes over these pools.
