Benefits of a Square ND Filter System: 1) Stack multiple filters without vignetting. 2) One set of filters for all your lenses. 3) Flexible use of graduated neutral density filters (vertical movement). 4) Ability to rotate all filters 360 degrees. Some unique features to the NiSi filter hold kit that I love but didn’t mention in the video, first is how the holder holds the filters, it adds pressure to the sides/edges of the filters, keeping it in place securely, but allows the filters to be installed, adjusted and removed easily from the holder and drastically reduces the risk of scratching the filters, unlike other filter holders that grip the front and backs of the filters. Secondly, the hexagonal shape of the filter holder means it is easy to install and remove square filters from the holder, even with larger graduated neutral density filters installed in-front of the square ND filters. Finally, how quick and easy it is to install the CPL with the point to point design, it’s a lot quicker and easier than the previous version’s screw on CPL.
