SOUNDBITE (English) Craig Ramon, witness Lawrence Buhler/Sanderson’s attorney: "On February 26, 2016 tell them what you saw." Ramon: "When we were skiing down down the bend, down the road. And then and then I heard this. This this yell, this scream. And then I looked over and then about, you know, maybe one or 2 seconds and then I heard the scream. And then. And then. And then I see this skier just slam into the back of Terry. And then when she just slammed him." Buhler: "How hard?" Ramon: "Very hard. I mean, very hard. SOUNDBITE (English) Craig Ramon, witness: Lawrence Buhler/Sanderson’s attorney: "Did you at some point learn the name of the skier that hit Terry?" Ramon: "Yes." Buhler: "And how did you learn that name?" Ramon: "Well, she ended up taking off and going down. And then she came... Buhler: "How far?" Ramon: "From where she was standing, she probably went down about 15, 20 feet and stopped. And she came around. Stopped. And then Eric Christiansen (ski instructor) said, 'Gwyneth Paltrow just took out your buddy.'" Buhler: "I'm sorry. He said what?" Ramon: "He said, 'Gwyneth Paltrow just took out your buddy.'" Buhler: "'Your buddy took out Gwyneth Paltrow?' What did you hear at that scene at that time?" Ramon: "He told me that Gwyneth Paltrow took out Terry." Buhler: "Was he accusing Terry of taking out Gwyneth Paltrow too?" Ramon: "No." 4. SOUNDBITE (English) Craig Ramon, witness Steve Owens/Paltrow Attorney: "Did you once in that deposition say that's Eric Christiansen told you that Gwyneth took Terry out?" Ramon: "No." Owens: "Did you say that today?" Ramon: "No, what I meant to say. I get dyslexic when I get nervous. No, he said that your buddy just took out Gwyneth." Owens: "All right. I was a little confused by some of the questioning. OK. So Christiansen always said your buddy took out Gwyneth Paltrow, right?" Ramon: "Yes." Owens: "All right. Did you correct him?" Ramon: "No." Owens: "Wouldn't that be the perfect time to say you are incorrect, sir?" Ramon: "He was yelling and I didn't. I Didn't want to get into an argument with him.
