Another video citing problems with AEW. This was not my plan going in. But Tony just can't stop making needless gaffs and presenting poorly executed wrestling. I have no desire to hate or dislike AEW. I want them to get better. The simple truth is their ratings and attendance are dwindling...and that's being kind. You can believe Meltzer all day that its because of all of these other things (tv viewership, competing sports events, less viewers this time of year) but the fact is, WWE is maintaining and in many areas growing its audience. And yes...they are BOTH pro wrestling. The only difference is that, if WWE is Drama...AEW is comedy...and not the good kind. At this point, people are laughing AT you, not with you. If you want AEW to succeed you have to be able to call it out when the company is going in the wrong direction. Support them by encouraging when they're on the right track and discouraging when their worst instincts take over. Thanks for watching!
